Please read these terms carefully before using the Udyog-Setu platform. By registering an account, you agree to comply with these rules and guidelines.
1. Introduction
Welcome to Udyog-Setu. We provide a platform that connects students of Jharkhand University of Technology (JUT) and other regional institutions with Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) for micro-internships and freelance tasks.
These terms govern your use of our website, services, and applications. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our platform.
2. User Accounts & Eligibility
- For Students: You must be currently enrolled in a recognized institution (preferably within Jharkhand). You must provide valid identification (College ID) during verification.
- For Businesses: You must represent a legitimate registered business or startup and provide authentic details (e.g., GSTIN or valid company registration) when requested.
- You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3. Project Postings & Applications
Udyog-Setu acts as a bridge. We do not directly employ students nor do we guarantee the completion of projects, though we enforce strict quality guidelines.
- Businesses must clearly state the project scope, budget, and deadline.
- Students must only apply for projects they are genuinely capable of completing within the stipulated timeframe.
- Submitting plagiarized, AI-generated (without editing/approval), or copied work will result in immediate account suspension.
4. Payments & Fees
To ensure trust between both parties, Udyog-Setu monitors the payment cycle closely.
- Payments to students are processed only after the Industry Admin approves the submitted work.
- Udyog-Setu reserves the right to deduct a nominal platform fee (if applicable) for maintaining the infrastructure, which will be clearly communicated prior to project acceptance.
- All payouts are processed directly to the student's verified bank account or UPI ID.
5. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing between the student and the business:
Once a project is completed and fully paid for, the intellectual property (IP) rights of the delivered work transfer entirely to the hiring Business. The student may retain the right to showcase the work in their personal portfolio, provided it does not violate any Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA).
6. Dispute Resolution & Contact
Udyog-Setu is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our platform. Disputes between businesses and students should ideally be resolved mutually. However, our Support Admin is always available to step in as a mediator.
