1. Payment Mechanism
Udyog-Setu operates on a milestone-based system. When an Industry assigns a project to a Student, the funds are expected to be available for payout upon the successful completion and approval of the project. Udyog-Setu acts as a mediator to ensure fair play between both parties.
2. Eligibility for Refunds (For Industries)
An Industry partner is eligible to request a cancellation and full/partial refund under the following circumstances:
- Non-Delivery: The assigned student fails to submit the project within the mutually agreed timeline and is unresponsive for more than 48 hours.
- Poor Quality/Plagiarism: The submitted work is completely irrelevant to the project description, heavily plagiarized, or fundamentally flawed, and the student refuses to provide necessary revisions.
- Student Dropout: The student officially withdraws from the project before completion.
3. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will NOT be issued to the Industry under the following conditions:
- The Industry has reviewed, approved, and accepted the submitted work. Once marked as "Completed", the payout is final.
- The Industry changes the scope of the project significantly after the student has already started or completed the work based on the original description.
- The Industry is unresponsive for more than 7 days after the student has submitted the work for review. In this case, the project will be auto-approved and funds will be released to the student.
4. Dispute Resolution
If a conflict arises regarding the quality of work or payment, either the Student or the Industry can raise a dispute via the "Support Center" on their dashboard. The Udyog-Setu Admin team will manually review the chat history, original project requirements, and the submitted work file. The Admin's decision regarding the release of funds or issuance of a refund will be final and binding.
5. Processing Time
Once a refund is approved by the Udyog-Setu Admin, the amount will be processed and credited back to the Industry's original payment method within 5 to 7 business days, depending on the bank's processing time.
