Udyog-Setu operates solely as a digital bridge connecting the students of Jharkhand University of Technology (JUT) with local MSMEs and industries. We are an intermediary platform facilitating freelance, project-based micro-internships. Udyog-Setu is not an employer, recruiting agency, or a contracting party to the actual work executed between the student and the industry.
2. No Guarantee of Earnings or Employment
Registration on the Udyog-Setu platform does not guarantee project allocation, financial earnings, or future employment. The selection of a student for a project is completely at the discretion of the respective industry partner. Udyog-Setu makes no warranties regarding the frequency, volume, or payout of the projects listed on the platform.
3. Quality of Work and Liabilities
While we strive to verify all students and industries, Udyog-Setu cannot guarantee the accuracy, quality, or timely delivery of the work performed by students, nor the precise specifications and conduct of the hiring MSMEs. Any disputes regarding work quality, project deadlines, or unmet expectations must be resolved directly between the student and the industry. Udyog-Setu shall not be held legally or financially liable for any direct or indirect losses incurred by either party during the execution of a project.
4. Independent Contractor Status
Students offering their services through Udyog-Setu act as independent contractors/freelancers. They are not employees of Udyog-Setu, nor are they official employees of the hiring industry unless explicitly stated in a separate, formal employment contract signed outside this platform. Students are responsible for their own tax liabilities regarding the income generated via the platform.

Our platform may contain links to external websites, such as student portfolios (e.g., GitHub, Google Drive) or industry websites. Udyog-Setu has no control over the content and nature of these external sites and accepts no responsibility for any damages or implications caused by visiting them.
